So this year has been a tad bonkers yeah? Nasty virus, lockdowns, the return of Mr. Motivator?!
If you don't come out of this year having become a slightly different person then you must have had your head in the sand the whole year! If, you're like me, you've used at least some of your enforced time off for contemplation then you'll know a little more about what I am going to talk about. This world is changing at an increased rate of knots. We don't have to like the changes that are taking place but what can we do about that? We can start with ourselves. The energy shifts this year have been ever increasing & are only set to continue as we plough forwards to the well documented beginning of the "golden age." If you've been feeling uncomfortable of late then you'll know that things have been rising to the surface for clearing on an incredibly large scale. These shifts take time to settle & to become comfortable with. This year has just felt like one boost, after another & then another. It can leave you feeling a little frazzled & bewildered but these are all necessary shifts. We are luminous beings, of vibration & light. We just don't necessarily live our lives at full pelt vibration & that's ok at the moment. We are shedding the old, it will fall away. Or you will become stuck, on a repeated patterned treadmill of which you'll find it hard to get down from. Embrace the change as best you can. Reach out to like-minds for support & to help you with these shifts. Do the work, call on your guides, make the time for meditation, yoga, singing mantras, exercise, whatever is your go to thing to help move the old into the past tense. Watch out for synchronicities, opportunities, open doors. Grab them with both hands. Be brave. Don't hide your light anymore as it is very much needed. You are the light! So, many of you know me but some of you don't know me & subsequently don't know what I do.
I started my one to ones doing just sound healing back in 2007. I say just, that on it's own, is an incredibly powerful healing. This will re-tune your body back to balance using a variety of notes & vowel sounds being toned into the body. It helps people with all sorts of issues but mainly anxiety, depression, insomnia to name but a few. I then added Shamanic Soul Retrieval - This is one of the most powerful tools. It brings back lost soul parts which get left behind when you experience traumatic events e.g. a car accident, or a divorce. What's great about this session is it can also bring back parts from past lives. Trauma that you may not have realised you have been carrying around with you for decades. It gets you 'unstuck' from repeating patterns in your life. I later learnt how to do Reiki Drumming which I instinctively bring into my sessions all the time. Assemblage Point Alignment came next & that is the alignment of the central point at which your auric field will lock into your physical body. If this is out of alignment it can make you feel lethargic, depressed & your immune system is compromised so always great to check this at the beginning of a session. Over the years I learnt to channel Reiki energy & on a trip to Egypt I was connected to one of the pyramids of Giza. I found I could channel this Egyptian healing light & used that for some years with clients after 2012. I am very much into the Shamanic side of healing & find working with my power animals comes naturally. I have also connected to Merlin & work with Elemental Fairies & have recently begun working with a new & quite powerful Dragon. So when people come & see me I use a combination of some or all of the above elements in a session which means it's a pretty unique & very powerful treatment. In this world we live, we learn lessons. How to thrive; how to survive. Sometimes it’s the surviving & not thriving times that are really testing!
The recent solar energies are bringing up quite old energy which needs to be cleared. It’s all asking for healing. In the meantime you have to carry on with your life as best you can, with all the everyday stuff going on. Which, as anyone knows, can be pretty hectic if you are busy & most of us are. So how do you continue to shine your light without being consumed by the odd knock that might come your way which teaches you a life lesson? I lean on my friends & family. I talk to them as a way to offload my stuff. They listen & are always supportive. Also, don’t give yourself such a hard time. We are all here to have an experience & if we didn’t experience the rough we wouldn’t appreciate the great! So allow yourself to have a rubbish day. It’s fine. It’s only 1 day & then tomorrow can be better. How can you turn it around to make sure what happens that is something that can be learnt from? By acknowledging what has occurred you are looking at it & will learn from it no matter what. As long as you carry on moving forward then life is flowing. (It’s when you get stuck that you repeat patterns & when that happens, again ask for help but that is another topic for another day but one that the shamanic treatments can help with ;-) ) Live, learn, trust, forgive, be real, feel, above all love. So recently this year I've been asked to do all sorts of new things. This includes extra workshops, extra collaborations & the like. Instead of doing my usual self sabotage thing, I've actually been accepting the new into my life & great things are coming along all at once which is wonderful!
So what's the difference from before? I am working on my old stuff! I got to a point before Christmas 2017 where I knew I was stuck! Trying to move forwards but not being able to & a friend of mine said I can help you. So I thought about that for a while. Was I ready for the change? Was I ready to accept that I needed help? I couldn't carry on the way I was.... So I said yes. We started to do EFT & it's helped a great deal. I have cleared a lot of past perceptions about what my life was like growing up, about my self doubts & fears & in dealing with these things I've really cleared a pathway forward. So many exciting changes are coming my way. (Maybe I can now include weight loss in these changes as well? ;-) ) I am stronger & more able to cope with what life throws at me. Yes, I do have to remember to balance things out. Not too much all at once & remember to meditate & walk my talk more but life is really exciting! It's a challenge this thing called life. We may have plans but life has a way of guiding you on the path you are meant to go down. It's interesting & sometimes we can get surprised by the changes that come along. Embrace it all. In all it's greatness. I am happier than I've been in a long time. I'm so lucky to be able to love what I do for a living. If you can't do a job that you enjoy then what can you do to try to change your situation? If you are stuck you don't have to stay that way. Ask for help. Ask & you will get shown the right way. I had a client the other day & she said my name kept going around in her head so she heeded that call & got in touch. She had a great session. Enjoy everything that life has to offer & if a challenge arrives at your door, meet it head on. Ask for help & guidance & it will come & then you can make those changes happen. Namaste & Aho. Xx So recently I saw a post on Facebook about keeping positive & drawing happiness towards yourself. Whilst you can't deny that negative things will happen in your life (& sad things that you can't control) being happy & making a conscious effort to bring more happiness to you will pay countless dividends. :-D I recently, whilst walking in my local town, decided to smile at random people to see if I could get them to smile back. Some thought I was really nuts, some smiled briefly but then went about their day again & some of those faces really melted into an infectious smile that carried on long after I walked past them. This is just one of the ways to bring positivity into your life. There are other ways, like sending someone a card, even if it's not their birthday. Like paying it forward by sending out a gift to someone who's not paying for it. Like organising an event for charity. I like to start my morning by giving thanks for good things in my life. I repeat positive affirmations I have dotted around my kitchen. It could be anything like, "I AM golden light. I AM surrounded by love, peace & am abundant in all areas of my life. I AM worthy of all good things. " That said I haven't always been the most positive & happy person out there. I've suffered with depression & anxiety & sometimes still get anxious but I put my coping mechanisms into practice. Meditation & regular amounts of it are good. Exercise, (in whatever format comes, be it cycling, walking, swimming, yoga etc) will also help maintain your mood. I like singing and dancing around my kitchen! ;-) Drinking plenty of water & getting the right sleep will also help improve your mood. Eating the right things but also allowing that bit of naughtiness will also help. So what are you going to do to help yourself to be happy today? Have a think & do let me know. We've all heard the saying, Like attracts like, well that is very much the way of the universe. I decided to add a new affirmation to my positive thinking page on my kitchen cupboard. It says something on the lines of, I am happy, I am worthy, I am fully abundant in all aspects of my life. I breathe in love, I breathe out peace. After a few times of repeating this I was contacted by a new client which is great! 😀 Sometimes sensitive people will be influenced by the alignments of the planets & moon cycles etc & it's not always going to work that you can have a great day every single day but wouldn't it be nice to be able to have the power to bring a few more of these into your week? Well you can. You have the power. You have the ability within you. Affirmations are powerful tools to aid your well-being. Try it today! 😀💗👍 So, it's been almost a year since I wrote my last blog which is really shocking! A lot has happened in that time!
I have been gifted a beautiful new healing space called Heather's Haven which hubby & a good friend built in the bottom of the garden for me. It's literally a garden shed which we've done up with wall hangings & pictures, a couch, a new Chinese wind gong, which I love! I am really lucky as it's been a busy time which is great! This year seems to have lifted from the massive clear out that was 2016! Endings & letting go was done on a massive global scale. This year is the year of action. Of getting things done. We've seen the inauguration of Donald Trump as President of the USA which is causing some controversy. I believe it's a good thing. It is making the people take a stand. As he implements new treaties etc & people are not happy it's making them rise up & take a stand which is all the better. So if you're sitting there thinking, it doesn't make a difference what I do, you're wrong! I am putting into action my dreams by organising Sacred Chanting at the Well Being Centre in Newbury. I'm really pleased to be working there with Claire & her team. It's a lovely place for Yoga, Meditation, all sorts! I am hopefully going to be drumming again with folks associated with the Crystalz & Rainbowz shop in Newbury also. Monthly Drum circles will be starting up soon so watch this space for more info on that. Love that shop! It has so many great spiritual gifts in there. I don't seem to be able to walk out without making a purchase of something, be it incense or crystals or pictures/wall hangings. I'm also planning more days out, Drumming on the land. This year we're planning to go a bit further afield, with a visit to Old Sarum & Woodhenge. These days are beautiful to share drumming, giving healing back to the land, our Mother Earth - Gaia. We also do healings for ourselves & it's a day for nurturing & like minded people to come together in ceremony. Walking my talk is going to be a feature of this year. Doing more meditation & trying to be a bit more healthy in body & mind will be something I will look to improve. Starting with my exercise goals. Trying a class of 5 Rhythms soon so we'll see how that goes. I currently do a Hypopressive class on a Sunday morning which is lovely & works your core. (I get to do my sounds for the ladies every once in a while which is blissful!) So just thinking about this year and what it can bring you. What do you want to manifest? What do you want to put into place? How do you go about doing this? You could do a Vision Board, or just a drawing & put it in a special place. You could just make a prayer to spirit & ask for what you'd like. Either way, if you put your request out there, you are manifesting it into being. I would like to do some work at a Mind Body Spirit Fayre. Some chanting or a Sound Bath. Years ago I told my brother I wanted to be the next Deva Premal. A leap too far? Maybe. Maybe not....You never know what the future holds. It can often serve you a complete curve ball but what if it does? Have your dreams & goals. With great speed I would imagine! It's been a little bit Phew! The recent eclipse, new moon & near by asteroid has sent us spinning, literally! It's been a bit full on. Bringing all that we are manifesting & more. (So, be careful what you wish for!)
I'm personally really pushing myself forward. A days drumming at Avebury. Something I've wanted to do for a while but was thwarted last year by a foot problem & also running a mini retreat in Wales which I'd never have foreseen myself doing at all. Makes you wonder what will happen for the rest of the year? Well, hopefully great things. The trick is to keep up the balance. Remember to look after you! A very wise lady said that she said the best thing to do is to learn how to breathe out. Why breathe out & not simply breathing? She said that actually when most people breathe in they have a tendency to lift their shoulders & that creates tension in the body. When you breathe out that's when relaxation will happen. So, when breathing, make sure you're not tensing those shoulders. When breathing out allow your breathe to become long. At least twice as long as your breath in & squeeze all the air out from your lungs so that your next breath in is expansive & rich with oxygen. Sounds simple doesn't it? Breathing. Trust me, if you are doing the diagphramatic breathing it does take practice but it's oh sooo good for you. Go on, do it now. Just as you're reading this. Close your eyes, take a deep breath in & exhale. All the air. Squeezing until you nearly pop but you don't you take in your next oxygen rich breath. It's truely great! It's free too which is also a bonus! Don't forget to meditate too. You can do this anyway you like. As long as you're connecting & making contact with your guides & angels as they have much to teach us right now & are guiding us to make great changes & choices for our futures. Enjoy the rush but don't get caught up in it. Namaste all. Xx So, January was a trial month. A cleansing of 2015. It was a bit heavy & a bit too much like hard work, lol!
This morning is Imbolc morning & the beautiful pathworking words of my dear friend Mel are ringing in my head. To feel fresh snowdrops in the grass, see new buds on the trees & to make a wish. A beautiful heartfelt wish as to how you want your 2016 to be. Things are already changing. The opportunities which are presenting themselves are different than before. You'll be expected to walk outside of your comfort zone a little. This isn't such a bad thing. If at first you're not too sure, there'll be another opportunity crop up which will present itself again & this time, breathe deep & take it. I'm keen to sit here & make my wish & make it a good one. So do make sure you devote a little time to the blessings of Imbolc & Godess Brighid's magic. She is the bringer of the first signs of light & fire after Winter. Although it's still cold out there, you can see the magic slowly emerging. So allow your magic to do the same. Emerge from your winter. Breath new & fresh ideas into your 2016. Happy wishing & happy Imbolc everyone. XxX :D So there's been much happening out there at the moment. Astrologically, 'conjunct' planets, massive solar flares & a rising in 'intense days'. This is calling us to examine where we are, what our soul path holds in store for us, are we where we're supposed to be? It's also churning up a lot of uncomfortable old feelings which have us retreating back, self sabotaging & also getting downright irritable!
I have been trying to 'ride the waves' with the rest of humanity. So, how do we do this without feeling like we're going crazy all the time? Well, breathing is a good method to aid calm & clarity; & when I say breathing, I mean, proper, deep belly stuff. This has to be practised at, it's not something that will automatically come naturally. Drink plenty of water. (This is something I admit I struggle with.) Have a salt bath if you can manage to slot it in. This will help neutralise some of these high octane frequencies. Ask your angels & guides to assist you. I am lucky in that I have a group of spirit Elders who have been helping me. It seems it's all about upgrading your DNA at the moment. If you feel you need assistance in this area then if you can, do seek out a practitioner/therapist who will help clear away the karmic debris & allow more light in. We're all being asked to reach higher vibrations to allow for a deeper love connection with others & ourselves. The next thing to do is to realise you're not alone. Please, where ever you can, share your feelings. Knowing you're not the only one to be battling with it all does help you to realise that we are all transcending & that actually it's not an easy task. Some days will be tougher than others & on those tough days we need support from our friends. People who know us well & who can be a friendly ear when we need them. In that same way be prepared to also help others. Somehow, we will overcome all that is troublesome & enjoy deeper connections without anything to hold us back. Patience is the best virtue we can adopt right now. Stay strong my fellow light-workers. Higher love is coming. Someday sooooooonnnn.......... So recently I got back in touch with a lovely friend who I had a unique relationship with. It's something that people refer to as a kind of mutual instant attraction for a person. Somehow, you feel like you already know them even though you've only met a few times. It's what's known as finding people in your 'Soul' family. This is a group of people who are there to help guide you & protect you & make you feel more 'at home'. (Home being the place of divine source.) You have incarnated with this group of people before which is why they feel so familiar to you. If you get really close it's almost like you know when they need you to call or check up on them. I've had quite a few of these people in my life but as always they come in when you need them and sometimes they go. Some people from this group will be with you for life but some are there to teach you a valuable life lesson.
I love when I have that feeling from a friend & it's a wonderful gift to have. I am lucky to have had quite a few of these in my life & hopefully I will have more along my journey. When I do I know I will always feel blessed & treasure these people. So to the lovely person who I may now not see much of, thank you. Thank you for coming into my life & for being downright lovely to me & making me feel special. It's hard to pat yourself on the back. Sometimes you need someone to help & you helped me feel happy. So thank you! Mwah! Xx Heather - March 2015. Ok, so a good friend has a difference of opinion with me about something Ms Paltrow has decided should be the next big thing. It's a daft post I put on facebook & I didn't expect to receive as much opposition on my post. This got me to thinking. What is this year all about? Apart from being the year of action, which it quite clearly is. It's also about learning to love a bit more.
I admit I have great trouble learning to love myself & often fall flat at the first hurdle of being able to pat myself on the back. However, I've been through a lot in my life, learnt a lot, got a degree, a few holisitic qualifications, a great family & friends. So, if I am able to stand back & love myself, (or at least try to) then perhaps I should give others the same courtesy, even if I do think they are a bit too media hungry! Does that mean I need to love Gwyneth Paltrow? (Who now likes to Steam her bits, lol!) Or David Cameron who likes to Frack our countryside? (Well, maybe he's a step too far!) However, learning to be tolerant & sending love out to people I don't necessarily agree with could be a good lesson for me to learn, & everyone. We are all unique. We all have differences of opinion. I am still rocking & awesome even if I prefer to just steam my veg instead, lol! Okay Gwynnie - you go girlfriend! Sending you love & hugs from the other side. So, just lately I've made a decision in my life which has caused a contradiction to other people around me. It has caused a certain amount of irritation in myself as I am feeling a bit like how I used to at school, like the outsider, the odd one, you know the drill! However, in examining this properly I find myself even more determined to remain different & not conform to other people's standards.
Why on earth should I follow the crowd when I know it's not the way I want to be walking? I may alienate myself my doing so but I have to be true to who I am otherwise I'm just someone who isn't authentic & doesn't listen closely to my own inner voice. If you have had something similar happen recently, just know this. You are not alone. Don't feel like you have to become one of the 'Sheeple' just simply to keep the peace or to 'fit in'. Be proud to be different. If things don't work out you can always go back & take the other pathway. Always follow your heart & your dreams because it's those that keep us going. It's those that keep us alive! Without following our true authentic self, then we're just 'going through the motions'. Have a great day. Namaste. Xx So, already we are seeing some amazing things occurring for this year. We have spent a lot of time cleansing & going through dark phases during last year. Some good, some felt like it was wading through treacle! However, we are here! We made it. Just for that reason it's good to give yourself a pat on the back!
I mean, Phew! So what does this year hold for you? Dubbed the year of action, 2015 is shaping up to be a bumper year. All sorts of people are springing into action already. Where as this time last year, I don't think I really had any kind of get up & go. It felt more like hibernation time! I myself am doing some more workshops & exciting events are on the horizon for this year & I feel very excited about this change. Whatever was holding me back is longer doing so & I am feeling propelled into action. However, we must realise that it still is a full year or 365 days & all of those days don't have to be filled right away. Maybe it's because deep down we know that a Mercury retrograde will come along & perhaps pull on the reins a little. So, when it does come upon us, see it as a chance to take a breather, take stock & admire all the amazing things you've already put into place for this year & try to relax. Meditate & breathe & pat yourself on the back some more. Life is all about living. It's also about looking, learning, living but most importantly 'be-ing'. Enjoy your 'be-ing' time! Namaste. Xx So, given the recent events in the Parker household, I find myself in a very reflective mood at the moment. When you look at someone's life & look at what they had, what they did & how they lived their live it makes you think about your own life, where you're at, how you're doing & what you want to achieve for the future.
Mark's Dad was a very simple man. He loved his garden & lived very modestly in a little cottage on his own for many years. In many ways he was challenged by his continuing physical decline in health & this left him feeling very frustrated. In other words, he, to us, did seem to be quite an unlucky man. He loved being a Grandad & this always did cheer him up when we went to visit him. The things that make a difference to a person's life is PMA. Positive mental attitude. If you believe you can get better, even though you have a debilitating illness, if you believe in your own strengths as opposed to focusing on the weakness's of your life, if you are willing to be passionate about something you enjoy doing, & share that passion with the people around you, then you can & will, pull good things towards you. If you are the kind of person who wear's their heart on their sleeve & you don't hide, even when life presents difficulties then people appreciate your honesty even more. What I'm saying is I've learnt a lot from this dear old man. I've learnt that you have to try to live everyday to it's fullest potential, no matter what gets thrown your way. You must celebrate life & all it has to offer & most of all you have to believe you are an amazing being & that you can live your life the way you want to. You can do what you love, you don't have to be stuck doing a 9 - 5 that you hate, you are the creator of your life. Stay positive, learn that life is for the here & now & it is for you to live it the best way you can & then you can have all the happiness in the world & amazing moments of wonder. |
